Atlanta_Airport

Where is the largest airport in the world?

The largest airport by passenger numbers is Atlanta Hartsfield Jackson airport (ATL) in the United States.

It is located less than 10 miles from downtown Atlanta and averages 275,000 passengers a day, on average, there are 2,700 arrivals and departures daily with Atlanta being within a two-hour flight of 80 percent of the United States population.

With this many travellers each day the importance of airport ancillary services becomes even more important as it is with most airports, but services such as transfers that take to and from the airport, lounges for you to wait in and other services that make your trip more easier all take on an importance.

As an example, Atlanta airport lists over 15 different services from airport clubs through to nurseries, but how you find and book these is not always easy, thankfully there are now quite a few third party sites that enable you to book ancillary services before you arrive at the airport.
